Have You Seen This? Tom Hanks shuffle

LOS ANGELES -- It's called making the best of an awkward situation. Or it's called surviving what is known as Spanish TV.

Tom Hanks, who is on the proverbial promotional tour for his new movie "Larry Crowne," found himself on the morning newscast for Univision, a Spanish-speaking network.

Now mind you, the hosts are speaking Spanish, while Hanks mixes a few Spanish words in with his English.

Who knows if Hanks has any idea what the four hosts are saying but eventually he finds himself at the weather board with fetching weather girl Chiquinquira Delgado. Then the music starts, the two start hip-shaking while pointing at locations and temperatures on the weather map. The only thing missing were the dim lights and the crystal ball.

Hanks hangs in there, throwing out a totally inaudible forecast thanks to the translating commentary from a male host.

It is a total mess... a train wreck from which you can't turn away your eyes. It's hilarious!

Hanks posted a picture of his experience and later tweeted, "Gotta love Univision! What a fun hour that was, peppers for breakfast! Que bueno! Hanx."

Yes you do have to love the eccentricity of Spanish television.

A point hammered home by one of the news anchors once Hanks' bit was over, "The craziness you see on Spanish TV and not on English TV, right?"
